Eric Johnson

Eric Lee Johnson was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where he attended local schools from elementary through high school. Deeply connected to his hometown, Eric learned early the importance of hard work, discipline, and perseverance—values that continue to guide his personal and professional life today.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in engineering, Eric chose to give back to his community before pursuing law school. He spent several years teaching and coaching football at a local high school, where he discovered a passion for mentoring young people. Through coaching, he emphasized teamwork, accountability, and integrity—values he believes are essential both in sports and in life. The lessons he shared with his students about preparation, effort, and resilience continue to shape his approach as an attorney.

Although Eric found fulfillment in teaching and coaching, he felt called to expand the ways he could help others. Driven by a strong desire to advocate for people and use his analytical skills in service of justice, he decided to pursue a career in law.
Eric earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, where he developed a deep interest in litigation and client advocacy. During law school, he gained valuable hands-on experience through multiple internships that helped shape his understanding of the legal system and reinforced his commitment to helping others.

At the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office, Eric assisted in trial preparation, motion drafting, and case research. Working alongside prosecutors, he developed a keen understanding of courtroom procedures and the power of persuasive advocacy. He also interned with a major nonprofit organization, where he supported in-house counsel on contract and transactional matters. This experience taught him the importance of precision, problem-solving, and compassion in addressing clients’ needs. Together, these opportunities gave Eric a strong foundation in both the procedural and human sides of the law.

Today, Eric focuses his practice on personal injury cases. He represents individuals and families across Texas who have been injured due to the negligence of others, including victims of car and truck accidents, workplace injuries, and premises liability incidents. Eric approaches every case with thorough preparation and strategic insight, believing that attention to detail and clear communication are key to achieving justice for his clients.

Known for his relentless work ethic and integrity, Eric takes pride in treating each client with the respect and care they deserve. He understands that behind every case is a person facing uncertainty and hardship, and he strives to make the legal process as transparent and supportive as possible. His clients value his honesty, responsiveness, and ability to explain complex legal matters in a way that empowers them to make informed decisions.
