An 18-year-old was killed in a head-on collision after trying to pass another vehicle in Hannibal, New York.
About the Fatal Hannibal Accident
The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, according ot WIBX. Dylan Blair was driving Westbound on State Route 3 when he merged into oncoming traffic while trying to pass another vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle in front of him had slowed down to help another motorist who was having trouble with their car. Blair struck a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 47-year-old Cheryl K. Murnane.
Murnane was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Blair was pronounced dead at the scene around 5:00pm. Blair’s passengers Joshua D. Barnello, 18, and Miranda A. Bivens, 18, were also treated for injuries.
According to the State police, Blair was a student at G. Ray Bodley High School. The accident remains under investigation.
