Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident
KXII News is reporting that police are currently investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that happened along US Highway 69/75 on Wednesday evening.
According to local police, the accident took place at about 5 p.m., when the man was heading south on US Highway 65/75 coming up on the Platter Road intersection when another vehicle pulled into the intersection and collided with the motorcycle. Police have stated that the rider was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Residents in the area have stated that they are worried that all of the construction in the area have be contributing to more accidents. At this time, the name of the victim has not been released to the public, and an investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
