Two pedestrians were killed Wednesday in Odessa, Texas after being run down in a tragic one-vehicle traffic accident.
The two men were working outside their vehicle that morning before the unspeakable occurred.
Authorities Launch Investigation into Odessa Pedestrian Fatalities
The Odessa American reports the accident occurred around 11:30 am; however, the details of the incident remain under investigation.
According to, Sgt. Michael Thomas with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the identities of the two victims have not been released as further investigation is being conducted.
A representative of the Texas DPS told reporters that the whole of Highway 302 was under construction by Jones Brothers Dirt and Paving Contractors, even continuing past the point of the incident.
Information concerning the identity of the driver of the truck was not immediately available.
