GLOPO Recalls Children’s Scooters Due to Fall Hazard

Joyrider three-wheeled scooters are being recalled by GLOPO due to the front wheels of the scooter detaching while being ridden, resulting in a fall hazard.

About the Joyrider Scooter Recall

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission about 520 Joyrider scooters have been recalled.

GLOPO has received one report of the front wheels detaching from the scooter, injuring a child that fell off the scooter.

The were on Amazon.com from October 2014 through January 2016 for about $80 and on Zulily.com from June 2014 through July 2015 for about $50

Consumers should immediately stop using recalled scooters and contact GLOPO for instructions on receiving free repair kit

Description of Joyrider Three-Wheeled Scooter

  • The recalled scooters have a low foot-gripping deck, multicolored handgrips, and an adjustable metal T-bar handle
  • The scooters are made of metal and plastic
  • The scooters come in a variety of colors
  • The tracking label sticker can be found on the back of the scooters with batch PO number G20140423
  • The model numbers being recalled are: GT5048R, GT5110R, GT5121R, GT5124R, GT5122R, GT5117R, GT5123R
  • The model numbers can be found on the bottom of the scooter base, on the receipt of the packaging
