Motorist Killed after Sustaining Fatal Injuries in Semi-truck Crash

According to AL.com, a motorist dies from injuries sustained in a collision with a semi-truck in Jemison, Alabama, on Wednesday morning.

Details of the Fatal Trucking Accident

Paul Orlando Reed, 46, drove his Chevrolet SUV near the intersection of Chilton County Road 50 and Alabama Highway 91. Police say a 2016 Kenworth tractor-trailer crashed into his SUV, causing it to flip off the road.

Reed received treatment at UAB hospital, but he was later pronounced dead, reports AL.com. Police believe the foggy conditions in the morning played a role in the fatal crash.

The investigation into the cause of the wreck is ongoing.
