Pedestrian Suffers Serious Head Injury in Hit-and-run Car Crash

According to The Sun Chronicle, a 60-year-old man is in serious condition after being hit by a car in Attleboro, Massachusetts, on Tuesday evening.

Details of Pedestrian Hit-and-run Wreck

The elderly pedestrian was walking along North Main Street near Peck Street at around 5:30 p.m. local time when the injury accident occurred. Officials say a vehicle wrecked into the 60-year-old man before fleeing from the scene.

The man was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital before being moved to Rhode Island Hospital due to his injuries. The Sun Chronicle reports that the victim sustained a head injury in the crash.

The Sun Chronicle reports that a dark colored car was being towed near the pedestrian accident scene, but it is unclear if the vehicle was involved in the hit-and-run. In addition, officials investigated a report of a woman that said her vehicle was damaged, but she did not recall how it happened.
