25,000 Mazda Cars Recalled for Wheels that Could Fall Off
Ashley Peterson11 months ago
25,000 Mazda cars have been recalled for a possibility that they may losing their wheels while being driven.
About the Mazda Recall
The cars had to be recalled because of a gap between the hub bolts and hub flanges. This issue is caused by a manufacturing error and could cause lug nuts to loosen and fall off potentially causing the wheel itself to fall off.
While there have no reports of wheels falling off yet, Mazda says owners should bring their vehicle into a dealership if they hear any strange rattling noises.
Description of Recalled Mazda Vehicles
The recalled cars are 2019 Mazda 3s.
There could be as many as 25,000 cars affected.
It’s estimated that about 1 percent of the cars could have that defect.
