Texas Man Dies in Blythe Due to Rollover Crash


Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Highway 95 in Blythe, California late Thursday evening. One man was killed in the incident.

The Details on the Car Crash

According to the Desert Sun, a driver and a passenger were traveling in the vehicle at the time of the collision.

The Riverside County Coroner’s office identified the dead Texas man as Gregorio Ponce Otero, 84-years-old from Brownsville, Texas. The other individual in the car suffered from minor injuries and was taken to the hospital according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

According to the California Highway Patrol the cause of the crash is still unknown and is under investigation.
