According to CBS-DFW, 34-year-old Dalibot Sakotic of Wylie, Texas was arraigned Friday on charges of manslaughter and reckless driving.
Preliminary reports suggest Sakotic’s tractor-trailer crashed into a car on Interstate 69 on Wednesday. The two rear-seat passengers of the car, Cody Thomas, 27, and Aria Thomas, 3, were killed in the collision. The driver of the car was hospitalized with serious injuries while the fourth occupant, the wife of the deceased man and mother to the child, escaped without serious injury.
Sakotic was jailed on a $500,000 cash bond. The accident remains under investigation.
