Derrick D. Long
Mr. Derrick D. Long is an associate attorney at Thomas J. Henry.
Mr. Long completed his Doctor of Jurisprudence at Thurgood Marshall School of Law and also holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Corporate Communication & Business Administration from University of Texas. During law school, Mr. Long was a member of the Law Journal and worked as a clinical attorney drafting petitions, motions, and orders and communicating with courts, attorneys, and opposing counsel.
Prior to joining Thomas J. Henry, Mr. Long worked as an attorney for a nationwide debt collection firm that handled debt collection for major banks. He was responsible for various stages of the ligation process, including drafting motions and pleadings, attending trials, and obtaining judgment and favorable rulings.
As an attorney with Thomas J. Henry, Mr. Long currently focuses his practice on the representation of clients injured in auto and company vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability accidents, and workplace accidents.
