Antonio Olvera

Attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law's Houston Office

Mr. Antonio Olvera is an attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law, joining the law firm’s Houston office in 2022.

Mr. Olvera obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2021, after obtaining his Political Science Degree from Texas A&M University in 2018. While an undergraduate, Mr. Olvera was a member of the Texas A&M Wrestling Team and Pre-Law Society. During his time at South Texas College of Law Houston, Mr. Olvera was heavily involved in the Hispanic Legal community. He was the Secretary for the Hispanic Law Student Association as well as the secretary for his legal fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta.

Mr. Olvera is also an active member of the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston (MABAH). Because of his work in HLSA, Mr. Olvera was the recipient of the Hispanic Law Student Association Scholarship of Excellence Award in 2019 and 2021. It was in 2020 when Mr. Olvera received his mediator certificate from the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution.

Being that Mr. Olvera is a first-generation Latin American, Mr. Olvera is fluent in Spanish. Before working at Thomas J. Henry, Mr. Olvera was a member of the Pro-Bono College of Texas. He received this award for work that he did while helping underserved members of the Hispanic community as they transitioned into naturalization at YMCA International Services. He also clerked at the Harris County District Attorneys’ Office while in school as well as clerking for Javier Marcos before joining Thomas J. Henry Law.
