Dustin Chimento

Attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law's Dallas Office

Mr. Dustin Chimento was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana where he excelled in high school sports was an All-Metro baseball player with collegiate scholarship offers. He attended Loyola University New Orleans where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science before pursuing his Doctor of Juris Prudence at Louisiana State University. Mr. Chimento then returned to New Orleans and earned a Masters of Business Administration from University of New Orleans.

Mr. Chimento is admitted to the State Bars of Louisiana and Texas, and he is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Mr. Chimento has worked in multiple industries over the years. This includes five years of working as a computer engineer for NASA and 10 years of management and director experience in the culinary field for restaurants, universities, and hospital food and nutrition departments. While in law school, Mr. Chimento completed multiple internships with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office (Gaming Division), the Louisiana Department of Revenue, and the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office. Upon completing law school, Mr. Chimento worked as an attorney with the largest personal injury firm in Louisiana.

Joining Thomas J. Henry Law in 2022, Mr. Chimento currently represents clients from Thomas J. Henry Law’s Dallas office.

Outside of his work as an attorney, Mr. Chimento loves food and cooking. He has catered Thanksgiving and holiday meals for his co-workers and is a master of Cajun and Creole cooking. He is now learning the Texas ways of BBQ and Tex-Mex. He continues to enjoy baseball, now as a volunteer t-ball coach for his son’s little league team.
