Jordan L. Saunders-Cabrera

Attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law's San Antonio Office

Ms. Jordan L. Saunders-Cabrera received her Doctor of Jurisprudence form St. Mary’s University School of Law and also holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in English Literature from Rutgers University. As a staff writer for the St. Mary’s Law Journal, Vol. 49, Ms. Saunders-Cabrera wrote an unpublished law review article on voluntary false confessions inspired by the custodial interrogation of Brendan Dassey of Making a Murderer fame.

Ms. Saunders-Cabrera has been an intern for the Honorable Marialyn Bernard of Texas’s Fourth Court of Appeals and for the Honorable Xavier Rodriguez of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. While working for a law firm focused on intellectual property, Ms. Saunders-Cabrera gained litigation experience in drafting complaints, answers, subpoenas, notices of deposition, motions, and correspondence to opposing counsel regarding discovery. She also reviewed and analyzed deposition transcripts for designations, prepared trial exhibits for joint pre-trial order, drafted opening and closing statements, direct, and cross-examinations for pre-trial focus group, improved firm systems by streamlining exposition preparation and execution, and developed genuine rapport and trust with clientele.

Originally from San Antonio, Ms. Saunders-Cabrera moved to New York City where she learned about the power of advocacy. She returned to Texas in 2015 to live and practice law. Ms. Saunders-Cabrera is an acute listener, tireless investigator, and incapable of indifference.
