Mr. Victor Rivera is a successful bilingual trial attorney with over 15 years of experience. He has handled numerous bench and jury trials in a variety of legal matters, including cases dealing with personal injury, family law, criminal law, and business law.

Mr. Rivera received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. He has also earned a Master of Business Administration Degree from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from Tarleton State University. Mr. Rivera earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences Degree from Midwestern State University. Mr. Rivera has a thirst for knowledge as evidenced by his continued pursuits to elevate his background.

Mr. Rivera is licensed to practice in Texas, is a Certified Mediator, and is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He was selected as a Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers (a Thompson Reuters service) every year from 2010 – 2017. In 2015, he was selected as the Readers’ Choice for Best Attorney in Denton County (by Star Local Media). In 2016, he was selected as one of the Top 3 Criminal Defense Attorneys in Denton County (by Best of Denton County – Murray Media Group). Mr. Rivera also had the privilege of serving as a Municipal Court Judge for the Town of Flower Mound for five years.

Mr. Rivera’s commitment to helping others began at an early age. Mr. Rivera proudly served in the U.S. Army, and after his military service, he joined the Fort Worth Police Department. He left the police department to pursue a legal career so that he could protect people where many feel truly helpless, within the courtroom. He’s like a sheepdog protecting against the big bad wolf; fighting tirelessly, protecting his clients every step of the way.

Mr. Rivera is happily married to his best friend and they have two children and four dogs. He enjoys playing basketball and softball and trying new foods and restaurants. He also volunteers within his community and at his church.
