Grant R. Burns

Attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law's Austin Office

Mr. Grant Burns completed his Doctor of Jurisprudence at Regent University School of Law. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Brigham Young University.

After law school, Mr. Burns interned at a Virginia-based law office — authoring personal injury legal articles for the firm’s website, performing jury research for medical malpractice trials, and assisting with CLE seminars.

His success as an intern lead to greater success as an independent contractor at a different law office in Virginia. There, his responsibilities included preparing briefs for child support settlement hearings and composing memos for domestic relations legal theories.

For the past 6 years, Mr. Burns has been working as an associate attorney, intake personnel, and investigator for a firm in Richmond, Virginia. His various tasks included negotiating personal bodily injury settlements, drafting complaints for the General District and Circuit Court, participating in depositions and mediations, and assisting with market research and website content management. Mr. Burn’s many years in the business have made him a proficient attorney and a deliberate speaker.

When not working at Thomas J. Henry Law’s Austin office, Mr. Burns enjoys playing hockey. He also enjoys tasting good Cantonese and seafood while traveling with his wife.
